United Theological Seminary of the Twin Cities : 2001 Seminar
Newsbrief
Dean Richard Weis writes, “After consultation among ourselves and with ATS staff, we engaged Jack Seymour, dean at Garret-Evangelical Theological Seminary as the first of two consultants for our Lexington Seminar project. Jack led an all-day faculty retreat on April 2, which was devoted to initial conversation about developing benchmarks for successful integration. This conversation will continue through the rest of this term with the aim of producing a draft set of benchmarks early in the coming fall term. In addition to this planned process, the faculty is in the midst of a threaded discussion on the web based on an article relating to our project. Our technology team thought that this would be a way for faculty both to become more familiar with the resources of Blackboard and to draw on our Lexington conversations. This web ‘course’ is called ‘The Faculty Writes on the Blackboard.’”
