Regent’s plan was to examine how grading is integral to the school’s philosophy of education. At a faculty retreat, they focused the issues and prepared a series of seven proposals. Outcomes included a revision of the grading rubric for the new catalogue and formal training and workshops for faculty on how to grade. The grant was also used to fund faculty visits to other seminaries for discussions around this topic, to invite an outside speaker to address the faculty on matters of grading and evaluation, and to purchase printed resources and books on grading for each faculty member.
