Description
Trinity’s focus is “How do individual faculty life narratives inform and shape our vocational identity and calling as teachers? What are the implications of this for the collective vocation of faculty as theological educators?” The heart of the faculty’s project is developing personal narratives on their teaching vocation which will be shared at a retreat. The faculty will publish a booklet, “Faculty Life Stories,” which will include all the faculty narratives, and make this booklet will be part of the orientation for every new faculty member. Taking time for sharing such narratives will become a regular part of the Fall Faculty Workshop and one means of continuing a commitment to “instill in faculty a culture of pedagogical conversations.”
